Privacy Policy
Effective Date: December 22, 2025
1. Introduction
CODPrem (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of our users (“you” or “Merchant”) and the data of your customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you purchase, download, or use the CODPrem WordPress plugin.
2. Information We Collect From You (The Merchant)
When you purchase and install CODPrem, we (and our authorized partners) collect the following:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and license key.
- Site Data: The URL of the website where the plugin is installed, WordPress version, PHP version, and plugin version. This allows us to validate your license and push automatic updates.
- Payment Information: All payments are processed securely by Freemius, our authorized merchant of record. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
3. How the Plugin Handles Your Customers’ Data
CODPrem runs locally on your WordPress server. However, specific features interact with data as follows:
A. Checkout & Abandoned Cart
- Real-Time Capture: The plugin captures input fields (Name, Phone, Address) in real-time as the customer types, even if the “Place Order” button is not clicked.
- Storage: This data is stored locally in your WordPress database to enable the “Abandoned Cart Recovery” feature. We (CODPrem developers) do not have access to your customers’ personal order data.
B. External Integrations
If you enable specific integrations within the plugin settings, data will be shared with those third-party services:
- Google Maps API: If enabled, address keystrokes are sent to Google servers to provide autocomplete suggestions.
- Google Sheets: If enabled, order details are transmitted to the specific Google Sheet you have connected.
- Telegram: If enabled, order notifications including customer details are sent to your configured Telegram bot/channel.
- Tracking Pixels: If enabled, purchase events (Order Value, Currency, Order ID) are sent to the respective ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) for attribution.
4. Cookies
CODPrem uses cookies on your website to ensure functionality:
- Session Cookies: To track the user’s cart contents and selected variations.
- Preference Cookies: To remember selected language or currency settings.
- Popup Management: To prevent the checkout popup from reopening immediately after a user closes it (frequency capping).
5. Data Security
We follow industry-standard coding practices to ensure the plugin is secure. However, since the plugin is installed on your own server (WordPress), the ultimate security of the collected data depends on your hosting provider and your website’s security configuration (SSL, firewalls, etc.).
6. Data Sharing & Freemius
We use Freemius SDK for license management, subscriptions, and usage tracking. By using CODPrem, you agree to Freemius’s privacy policy. Freemius may collect non-sensitive diagnostic data to help us improve the plugin stability.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
As a user of our software, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you (License data).
- Request the deletion of your account/license data from our records (subject to license termination).
- Opt-out of non-essential usage tracking via the plugin settings.
Note to Merchants: You are responsible for ensuring your own Privacy Policy informs your customers that you are using tools (like CODPrem) that capture abandoned cart data and share location data with Google Maps.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
